Teaching children and families preventive safety - Injury is the No. 1 killer of children in the U.S., but childhood injury is often preventable. At Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, we help you prevent accidents from happening in the first place. Our Pediatric Injury Prevention Program provides community outreach, education, equipment and resources to teach children and families how to be safe at home, at play, and on the go.
