ASERT

ASERT is a statewide partnership that provides streamlined access to information for Pennsylvanians living with autism. ASERT provides free resources for individuals with autism, parents and caregivers, family members and the community.

Center for Community Resources

CCR’s Supports Coordination program has been in operation for over 20 years. We assist participants and their families seeking waiver-funded services, which include:

  • Behavioral Support
  • Community Participation Support
  • Employment Services
  • In-Home and Community Support
  • Respite
  • Residential Services
  • Transportation Services

We also assist families supporting participants with their general needs, which may include:

  • Food Pantries/Community Meals
  • Housing
  • Transportation Options
  • Community Activities and Events

International Dyslexia Association - PA

The International Dyslexia Association – Pennsylvania (IDA-PA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that champions individuals with dyslexia and all students learning to read. We support their families, community, educators, and related professionals. Throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware, we increase awareness about dyslexia, provide education and resources, and promote best practices for teaching reading based on scientific research.

TechOWL

TechOWL is PA’s designated Assistive Technology Act Program, part of the Institute on Disabilities at Temple University, College of Education and Human Development. TechOWL has many programs that can help you get assistive technology for different needs. These programs include a statewide lending library with over 1500 devices for people to borrow on a short-term basis. We also offer free demonstrations of devices to help in the trial process. These services are available to people of all ages.

The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties

The mission of The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties (CPARC) is to empower, inspire, and educated people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, and the community. Services include Day Programs, Employment services, Residential services and Advocacy. Advocacy is free of charge and includes 1:1 Special Education or Adult Advocacy, education and resources, and systems advocacy.
